Wicked Strong
T-Shirts Supporting The Mass General Marathon Program
There are certain moments during the year when the city of Boston comes together—St. Patrick’s Day, opening day at Fenway Park, the inevitable victory parade for the Patriots or the Red Sox, and Marathon Monday. And while we’re fans of all these celebrations, Marathon Monday holds a special place in our hearts. Not just because several of our vineyard vines team members run in the event each year, but because it gives us a chance to make a difference.
We’ve been working with the Mass General Marathon Program since 2015, and we’re proud to introduce another year of our Wicked Strong collection—a series of shirts that will make you feel good inside and out. With 30% of the proceeds generated from our Wicked Strong collection going to the Mass General Marathon Program, these shirts help raise awareness and money for children’s cancer research, child-life activities, emergency response and veterans care.
“Twenty-two years ago, I started a marathon team at the hospital to support our childhood cancer program,” said Dr. Howard Weinstein, Chief of Pediatric Hematology and Oncology at MassGeneral Hospital for Children, “and we raised over $15 million to support increasing the cure rates for children with cancer. It’s really been wonderful working with vineyard vines, they’ve been an amazing partner, and I hope to see the relationship grow and continue.”
Follow along with us as our own vineyard vines team member Brian Lauria runs the marathon alongside our partners and friends from Mass General. Together, we can help those who need it most, and help children everywhere live the Good Life.
