Shipping
Where does vineyard vines ship?
- Street addresses, P.O. Boxes (please check box during checkout) and Military APO/FPO address
- All 50 states including the District of Columbia (excluding all US Territories)
When will my order be shipped?
We strive to process orders as quickly as we possibly can. Orders placed Monday through Friday are usually shipped within 48 hours. Please note that during periods of high volume, it will take longer (sales, major promotions, Friends & Family, during the holidays, etc.) Orders placed over the weekend are usually shipped the next business day. If you need your order to go out the same day you place it, please place your order before noon ET using an expedited service (excludes Saturday, Sunday and Holidays) and we'll be sure to do our best to get you your merchandise in time. Personalized items, the sale of which are final, typically ship within 3 to 5 days. Please note that during periods of high volume, it may take longer.
When will my order be delivered?
Once processed, orders are shipped via Standard Ground (unless an expedited service is chosen). Standard Ground is delivered within 5-7 business days to most U.S. locations; however, we've found that orders will arrive even sooner than that.
How can I track my order?
Once an order has shipped, you will receive an email with tracking information. This email might wind up in your spam email folder, so be sure to add vineyard vines to your safe list.
What if I'd like to change my order after it's placed?
We apologize, but we cannot make changes, adjustments, or cancellations to an order after it has been submitted. We may still be able to help, though! Just give us a call at 800-892-4982.
Can I ship to an address that is different from my billing address?
Absolutely! When you set up your vineyard vines account, you're able to enter separate shipping addresses and save addresses that you may want to ship to in the future.
Why are my purchases being sent to me in multiple shipments?
You may have ordered a number of items that don't fit into one box, or we are shipping your item from one of our store locations. You will receive an email with a tracking number and item list for each of your packages.
Please note, in order to fulfill your order to the best of our ability we sometimes ship your items directly from one of our stores which can result in multiple shipments for a single order. When this happens you may notice multiple posts to your credit card for a single order. The initial authorization is not a charge and will disappear from your account in a business day or so. If your order contains both ready-now and customized pieces, ready-now pieces will ship at once and customized items will take an extra 3-5 days to decorate and ship. Please expect multiple parcels.
Returns & Exchanges
HOW CAN I RETURN OR EXCHANGE A PURCHASE?
Please click here to start your vineyardvines.com FREE return or exchange. You will need your order ID and shipping zip code. The order ID can be found on the order confirmation email or packing slip placed inside the shipping box. If you cannot locate your order ID, please contact customer service at 1-800-892-4982.
You will be given the option to drop off your return at a Staples location or UPS store. We will provide you with a QR code or pre-paid printable return label. If your address is eligible, we also provide an option for home pick-up by pick-up partner for a $7 service fee.
If you choose an exchange, your new item will ship immediately. If you choose a refund, you will receive a gift card or credit to your original form of payment 3-5 business days after carrier scan.
Return policy
Items should be returned new, unused and with the garment tags still attached. We only accept returns for products purchased at vineyard vines stores or through the vineyard vines website. Underwear and swimwear should be tried on over underwear. Swimwear returns will only be accepted with the hygienic liner intact. Personalized items cannot be returned or exchanged. Original shipping charges are not eligible for refund on orders that were shipped correctly.
Returns made for products over one year old may be accepted at the discretion of vineyard vines.
Online and Retail Store Purchases:
Proof of purchase can be established with a receipt or if we can find your transaction in your vineyard vines account.
Items purchased at Mashpee, MA; Morrisville, NC; and Arlington, VA can only be returned or exchanged at these purchase locations.
Full-price items with proof of purchase:
- Within 60 days of purchase: Full refund or merchandise credit
- After 60 days of purchase: Merchandise credit of purchase value
- After 90 days of purchase: Merchandise credit of last retail value
Sale items with proof of purchase:
- Within 30 days of purchase: Full refund or merchandise credit
- After 30 days of purchase: Merchandise credit of purchase value
- After 60 days of purchase: Merchandise credit of last retail value
- Items purchased during the 50% off Whale of a Sale are final sale
Without proof of purchase, returns will be processed and the customer will be issued merchandise credit of last retail value.
Final Sale Items:
All Whale of a Sale 50% off, Clearance, Outlet, Final Sale and Customized Items are not eligible for return, exchange, refund or credit.
Items purchased with cash in store:
Items purchased with cash at a retail store location and returned to our online fulfillment center with original receipt or packing slip will be refunded to a gift card. Retail locations will refund the purchase in the original form of payment.
Outlet
Merchandise purchased at vineyard vines outlet locations may be eligible for return, exchange, refund or merchandise credit within 30 days of purchase.
Merchandise must be returned in its original condition.
Returns must be accompanied by the original receipt.
All Clearance or Final Sale Items are not eligible for return, exchange, refund or credit.
Merchandise purchased at an outlet store cannot be returned to a retail store or to our online fulfillment center.
Whalehouse and Sample Sales
Merchandise purchased at a Whalehouse or Sample Sale is FINAL SALE. Returns or exchanges are not accepted.
Most locations accept returns of online orders (with the exception of Mashpee, MA, Birmingham, AL, Memphis and Nashville, TN, and any outlet locations)
Faulty Items
Items are classified as faulty if they are not of standard quality or as described. Please note that items which are damaged as a result of normal wear and tear, by accident, or through misuse will not be considered faulty or accepted for return.
Purchase Information
When returning your item(s), providing your receipt or order number helps us to locate your purchase. If you return your items without a receipt, we will need additional information to help you with your return. Please note this may add additional time for us to process your return. To return items in stores, you must present a receipt.
Gift Returns
We would be more than happy to help you return your gift. Returns with Gift Receipt are eligible for return, exchange, refund or merchandise credit.
Online Exchanges
Please follow the steps in the returns portal to order an exchange. If the item you would like as an exchange is not available, please place a new order online and return your original purchase.
Frequent Return Activity
We offer a generous return policy for our customers. However, customers returning items repeatedly or in bulk may be refused at our discretion.
International Returns Policy
Borderfree allows us to deliver our items to our international customers. When returning an international order you will be credited by Borderfree in the same currency and using the same exchange rate as your original tender. Returns must be made within 90 days of purchase.
All European Union customers have a right to back out of a purchase within 7 days of completing the transaction (e.g. placing the order on the website). If a European Union customer cancels their order during this 7-day period, Borderfree will reimburse the customer for the cost of the product(s) AND any extra fees (i.e. shipping) paid by the customer to receive the item. Borderfree can, however, charge the customer for cost of shipping goods back to Borderfree. Reimbursement by Borderfree will be within 30 days.
vineyard vines reserves the right to review and modify this return policy from time to time at its discretion.
Exchange policy
Please use our returns portal to process an exchange. We will send your exchange item out immediately after you submit the request.
We also offer the option for you to give us a call at 1-800-892-4982 to process an exchange. In this case, you will be charged for the merchandise on its way to you (shipping is on us, of course), and you'll be credited for your original purchase as soon as we receive your return.
How long will my return/exchange take to be processed?

International Returns Policy

Can I exchange a Gift Card?
All sales of Gift Cards are final and are not eligible for exchanges.

vineyard vines will honor a one-time price adjustment within 10 days of your order's shipment date.
Purchases made with any type of offer/promotion are not eligible for price adjustment, that includes but not limited to Flash Sales, Friends & Family and Whale of a Sale.

Products sold on our vineyard vines website are not for resale. If we suspect you are purchasing products for resale, we reserve the right to limit the number of items purchased or to refuse or cancel your order. Does vineyard vines immediately charge my credit card?
No, you are not charged until your order ships. An initial authorization will be posted to your card but no funds are taken until your items are on their way! Please note, sometimes orders are shipped in multiple packages and this might cause multiple, smaller posts on your bank statement for your single order.

If you give us your email address either on the home page, when you register, or order, we will send you emails about events, new arrivals, and promotions that we feel will be of interest to you. To be removed from our email list, simply log in to My Account and opt out of our email promotions.

If you choose to give us your telephone number on the order form, it is for the purpose of contacting you regarding your order. We will not call you regarding promotions.
