Great shirt for a short girl

I found this shirt in yellow in a store and liked it so much that I ordered the purple one from the website. It's not often that I find shirts built for short women, but this one certainly is--I just don't understand why you'd do that! It's a great shirt that I'm sure a lot of women would like to wear, but if they're over 5'3", it's a crop shirt!

I absolutely love my striped rugby shirt and not only because I wore them in college in the 1970's but also because the VV's one is, of course, of superior quality. I've had several friends my age ask me where I got it.
