Kids Sizing FAQ

FAQ

What sizes do you offer in kids?

Our kids’ and baby clothes come in the following sizes:

  • Baby (Preemie, 0-24 months)
  • Toddler (2T-6T)
  • Little Kid (4-6)
  • Big Kid or Tween (7-16)

What does the “T” stand for in sizes 2T-6T?

The ‘T’ in sizes 2T-6T stands for “Toddler” and the number before it is an approximation of age. So, the average-sized two-year-old should fit into a 2T.

What’s the difference between a 2T and 24 months?

Our 2T toddler styles run just a little slimmer than our 24 month infant size equivalent.

My kid is pretty true to size in other brands. How does vineyard vines compare?

Our kids’ clothes generally run true to size. However, some of our boys’ styles do tend to run a little small, like our joggers and pants. If you’re unsure, we recommend sizing up to be safe. To help you get the most out of these styles and keep up with growth spurts, we’ve added features like adjustable waistbands and extra stretch in our pants and shorts.

What’s the best way to get accurate measurements on my kid?

2. Waist: Measure the natural waistline at the belly button.

3. Chest: Measure fullest part of chest.
