When we were growing up, certain things were inevitable. One being that anytime the two of us could find an excuse to get out on the water, we were all over it. For us, it was like oxygen. And if there was another sailboat anywhere close, you could bet a race was bound to break out.

Today, nearly 20 years after leaving our jobs in NYC with what started as a dream to sell ties on Martha’s Vineyard, we’ve not only managed to spend an almost embarrassing amount of time on the water, we’ve met some great sailors along the way.

Sailors who know that the surest way to make your mark is to do something you love.

This June, on Bermuda’s Great Sound, the 35th America’s Cup will take place, as ORACLE TEAM USA sets out to defend the cup it won in 2013, against the designated challenger. For us, this one’s going to be especially memorable.

Because, at vineyard vines, we get to be a part of it.

And as the Official Style of the 35th America’s Cup, we couldn’t be more proud of all of our people here, and everyone out there on the water.
