Captiol Club Sinatra Soireé - 2008

Nantucket Race Week

We were proud to sponsor Nantucket Race Week for the fourth year. Race Week, which benefits Nantucket Community Sailing, is famous for its Rainbow Fleet Parade and the Opera House Cup. Beautiful boats, great racing and teaching future generations to sail and appreciate the water – you can’t beat that. You probably saw the whale heads roaming the island!

We were psyched to sponsor one of our favorite musical acts, Martin Sexton on August 8, 2008, at Outerland on Martha’s Vineyard once again this summer. For the island’s best music, it's the place to be....we'll be there and hope you will too.

Flip Flop Regatta

For the 3rd year we were sponsoring the Flip Flop Regatta, a PHRF sailing event held in Boston Harbor to benefit The ALLY Foundation (theallyfoundation.org), an organization dedicated to preventing sexual offenses. This year's event is expected to draw over 75 boats to the pursuit race and over 1,500 people to the Mount Gay Rum tent party. So throw on your flip flops and swing on by.

The Jimmy Fund Fishing Tournament

We’ve thrown our support behind the Joe Cronin Memorial Jimmy Fund Fishing Tournament for the past three summers. This year we can’t wait to throw our lines in the water, catch a ton of bluefish and help raise money for cancer research. For us, it's a win-win, we get to fish and help people at the same time. How often does that happen?

Nantucket Comedy Festival

When we first heard about the Nantucket Comedy Festival we got a big smile on our face. Then we decided we had to find a way to get involved. The newly formed, weeklong festival will consist of great comedy and family activities while supporting local charities.

Vineyard Cup

We were proud to be the presenting sponsor of the Vineyard Cup once again this year! The Vineyard Cup supports Sail MV, a non-profit organization helping to give kids who might not otherwise have the opportunity, a chance to not only sail but educate themselves on the maritime traditions of Martha’s Vineyard. Stay tuned for pictures from this years cup!

Figawi

We had more fun than ever as the Presenting Sponsor of Figawi Race Weekend once again this year! Figawi is the event that kicks off the New England Sailing season, and once you learn how to pronounce Figawi, or think you do, well…you just can’t miss it. Not only is Figawi fun, the funds raised for the Figawi Charities make a meaningful difference in many peoples lives - that more than anything puts the wind in our sails.

In 1998 we started vineyard vines(r) on Martha's Vineyard, and we've been having th time of our lives ever since. WE're brothers who decided to leave our corporate jobs in New York City and pursue the American Dream. With no money and little experience, we set out to make ties that represent the finer places and things life has to offer. We're pleased to have expanded beyond the shores of the Vineyard and now offer much more than just ties.
